Welcome to JEC PT admissions! At JEC PT, we realize that committed students can come from all walks of life and from all sorts of educational backgrounds. We're looking for students with intellectual potential, strength of character, and love of learning. Whilst we try to make the process as easy as possible, and our personnel vigorously support equality of opportunity, students must realist that the process is competitive. A New student applying for programs at JEC PT must be:
- A High school graduate with a science background (non-science students with good results in mathematics may be admitted with special approval).
- Aged 18-25
- Holds a valid National ID (expiry at least one year from the date of the application)
- Has never been supported by HRDF or has never been in a training program supported by HRDF. For example, never worked with a company as a trainee in a program that was funded by HRDF or where part of the salary for this training period was paid by HRDF.
- Not be registered in GOSI [See note above]
- Has completed Qiyas (Tahsili & Qurdurat score of 65 or more on each test).
Note these two tests need to be taken prior to final admission. If students get a score of 65 or better, JEC PT refund their test fees; if they do not get the cut off score (but pass our test), JEC PT will place the students on a reserve list which will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
All students who successfully enroll at JEC PT are supported by the HRDF.
